Gather RI has announced its seven Founding Board Members. In alphabetical order they are:

  • Marisa Albanese, Manager External Affairs at Rhode Island Energy

  • Marcela Betancur, Executive Director of Latino Policy Institute

  • Dana Borrelli-Murray, MA, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England

  • Touba Ghadessi, PhD, Provost at RISD

  • Sara Gilkenson, MA, Diversity Director at Supreme Court of Rhode Island

  • Anne Hills Holland, Founder of multiple organizations

  • and Felicia Salinas Moniz, PhD, Director, Sarah Doyle Center for Women & Gender at Brown.

The Founding Board will serve initial three-year terms. The not-for-profit organization will make its first staff hires this fall and expects to open its doors to the public in June 2025.
